If you are new at reading the Bible, reading the Scriptures can be quite daunting. But anyone can learn how to read the Bible meaningfully!
PRACTICAL STEPS
Here are some practical steps that may be taken. Perseverance and prayer will go a long way to help you read the Bible meaningfully.

b. To instruct us about life
c. To inspire us to live meaningfully
2. Doing our part
a. Take time to read the Bible
b. Set aside a definite portion of time to read the Scriptures
c. Take time to think about what you have read (meditation)
d. End each period of meditation with a meaningful prayer
e. Seek to consciously apply what you have read and found applicable in your life
READING THE BOOK OF PSALMS
The Psalms were prayerfully written by different authors. They were compiled into Five Books. The value of the reading of the Word of God may be summarised by this text.
“The law of the LORD is perfect,
Converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure,
Making wise the simple;
The statutes of the LORD are right,
Rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the LORD is pure,
Enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the LORD is clean,
Enduring forever;
The judgments of the LORD are true
And righteous forever.
More to be desired than gold;
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them Your servant is warned;
And in keeping them there is great reward.”Psalm 19:7-11

上帝的律法全备,能苏醒人心;
上帝的训词正直,能快活人的心;
上帝的道理洁净,存到永远;
都比金子可羡慕,且比极多的精金可羡慕;
