Presentation Of Jesus To The Jews
Text: John 19: 14 -15a
PRESENTATION OF JESUS TO THE JEWS
Pilate had no love for the Jews who had brought the case concerning Jesus in the wee hours of the morning. There was nothing about the case that was pleasant. The encounters with the Jews each time he presented Jesus to them met with derision, anger and veiled threats.
“Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, ‘Behold, your King!’ But they cried out, ‘Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!’”
John 19:14-15a
