Day 109 – Psalm 103

“Bless the LORD…” Psalm 103:20a

COMMENCING THE PSALM

King David commenced Psalm 103 with a word of exhortation to his own soul to bless the Lord’s name. He cited five excellent reasons why he should extol and bless the name of the Lord (Psalm 103:1-5).

CONCLUDING THE PSALM

As King David worked on the composition of this psalm, he felt strongly convinced that he must exhort others to bless the Lord.

“Bless the LORD, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
Bless the LORD, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the LORD, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the LORD, O my soul!”
Psalm 103:20-22
