a) Psalm 74 was meant as a contemplation.
b) In contrast Psalms 75 and 76 were meant to be songs of praise.
ASCRIPTION OF GREATNESS TO GOD
Psalm 76 also seems to be theologically linked to Psalms 74 and 75. Psalm 76 is an ascription of greatness to God. He was not only a God who heard and answered prayer.
“In Judah God is known;
His name is great in Israel.”
