God’s challenge to him
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
THE GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS OF THE FUTURE
-
There will be a Physical future Jeremiah 33:1-13
a) For Jerusalem Jeremiah 33:6
i) Health
ii) Healing
iii) Abundance of peace and truth
b) The captives Jeremiah 33:7
i) They will return
ii) They will rebuild
iii) There will be cleansing of iniquity Jeremiah 33:8
iv) There will be pardon Jeremiah 33:8
c) A New relationship Jeremiah 33:9
i) A new name of joy
ii) A name of praise
iii) A name of honour
d) Blessing of goodness Jeremiah 33:9
i) Good blessings
ii) Prosperity
iii) Provision
iv) All will fear and tremble as they see these blessings
e) Full restoration in view Jeremiah 33:10-11
i) No more desolation
ii) The voice of joy/ gladness
iii) The happy voices of people in marriage
iv) Happy worship of the Lord
v) The sacrifice of praise in the house of the Lord

There will be a great Spiritual Future Jeremiah 33:14-26

THE NEW COVENANT

Jesus is the Giver of the New Covenant
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28

Features of the New Covenant

b) Established on better promises Hebrews 8:6
c) God will put His laws in our minds Hebrews 8:10
d) He will write them on our hearts Hebrews 8:10
e) All shall know the Lord Hebrews 8:11
f) He will be merciful Hebrews 8:12
g) Our sins will be remembered no more Hebrews 8:12
INTERACTIVE RESPONSE TO THE LORD Hebrews 10:19-25

We have boldness to enter in the Holy of Holies Hebrews 10:19

Let us draw near
