A SHORT DESCRIPTIVE SUMMARY OF THE MINISTRY

29 Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there.
30 Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.
31 So the multitude marvelled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

Matthew 15:29-31

1. He would take time to sit and teach people

2. Multitudes came and brought the following:

a) The lame
b) The blind
c) The mute
d) The maimed
e) Many others

3. The Ministry of the Lord

a) He healed all who came
b) He healed with power and authority
c) He healed with compassion and love

4. The results were obvious

a) The mute were speaking
b) The maimed were made whole
c) The lame were walking
d) The blind were seeing

THE RESPONSE OF THE MULTITUDE

1. They marvelled

2. They glorified the God of Israel

3. No one had ever been able to do what the Lord Jesus did!

AN IMPORTANT COMMENT OF THE APOSTLE PETER

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

Acts 2:22

1. This was part of the Message Peter gave

2. His comment:

a) Concerning the Lord Jesus Christ
b) He was a Man attested by God
c) The attestation came in the form
i) Miracles
ii) Signs and wonders

3. Our Challenge

a) To find Faith in the Lord Jesus
b) To follow Him as Disciples
c) To bear fruit in our life
