THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE GRAVITY OF SIN

1. The sins of our youth

“Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions…”   Psalm 25:7

2. The greatness of sin

“Pardon iniquity, for it is great.”   Psalm 25:11

3. The effects of sin

“For I am desolate and afflicted, the troubles of my heart has enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. Look on my affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins.”   Psalm 25:16-18

THE CONFESSION OF SIN

1. Conviction of sin

“The sins of my youth, nor my transgressions”   Psalm 25:7

Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindness, for they are of old.”   Psalm 25:6
3. Seeking the Lord’s pardon

THE COMMITMENT OF GOD TO TEACH SINNERS

1. This reflects the character of God

“Good and upright is the Lord therefore He teaches sinners in the way…”   Psalm 25:8

“The humble He guides in justice. And the humble He teaches His way…”   Psalm 25:9

“All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth…”   Psalm 25:10
