Text: Proverbs 30
14 December 2008
Dear Parents,
WICKED CHILDREN
How would our children turn out? We have no guarantee! We can only do our part in bringing up children well! Let us ponder the following sobering text of how children can turn out nastily.
The eye that mocks his father,
And scorns obedience to his mother,
The ravens of the valley will pick it out,
And the young eagles will eat it.Proverbs 30:17

a) Underlying roots

iii) Callousness
b) Expression: Mocking of the father (outward and visible)
2. “Scorns obedience to his mother”

3. “The ravens”
