THE FIRST COVENANT

THE ARTICLES IN THE TABERNACLE/ TEMPLE
(Exodus 25:23-40)

1. The first part (The holy place) (Hebrews 9:2a)

a) The lampstand (Hebrews 9:2b)
b) The table and the showbread (Hebrews 9:2c)
c) Called “the sanctuary” (Hebrews 9:2d)

2. Two veils

a) The first veil (not mentioned)
It separated the Holy place from the courts
b) The second veil (Hebrews 9:3)
It separated the holy place from the holy of holies (“The holiest of all”)

3. In the holy of holies

a) The golden censer (Hebrews 9:4)
b) The ark of the covenant (Hebrews 9:4-5)
i) Overlaid with gold
ii) The golden pot with the manna

MINISTRY OF THE PRIESTS
