DELIVERANCE FROM ENEMIES

That I may be delivered from those in Judea who do not believe (Romans 15:31a)

1. Those in Judea who do not believe

a) These were unbelieving Jews
b) Paul confounded them (Damascus) (Acts 9:22)
c) Plot to kill Paul (Acts 9:23)
d) Attempts to kill Paul (Hellenist Jews) (Acts 9:29)
e) In stripes above measure (2 Corinthians 11:23)
f) From the Jews five times I received forty strips mins (2 Corinthians 11:24)
g) Three times I was beaten with rods (2 Corinthians 11:25)
h) In perils of my countrymen (2 Corinthians 11:26)

2. Ministry in Jerusalem
And that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints (Romans 15:31b)

a) Some may object
b) Others may reject
c) Prayer that Paul’s service to the Jews in Judea would be acceptable

MINISTRY IN ROME

That I may come to you with joy by the will of God (Romans 15:32)

1. Within the will of God

2. With joy in the heart

3. May be refreshed together with you

BENEDICTION

Now may the God of peace be with you all. Amen. (Romans 15:32)
