1. His thoughts          Isaiah 55:8

2. His ways          Isaiah 55:8

3. His word          Isaiah 55:11

AN APPRECIATION OF GOD’S WORD

1. They are far higher than man’s thoughts and ways          Isaiah 55:9

2. There is power

3. There is purpose

4. God’s word will be accomplished          Isaiah 55:11

a) It will not return to God void

b) It will accomplish what God has sent it out for

c) It will prosper

EFFECT OF THE WORD OF GOD ON THE BELIEVER

1. You shall go out with joy

2. Be led in peace

3. Orchestration of happiness

The mountains and hills will break forth into singing before you

All the trees of the field shall clap their hands
Isaiah 55:12

4. The cypress and the myrtle shall arise in place of thorns and briers          Isaiah 55:13

TO THE GLORY OF GOD

All of the above will be fulfilled

1. To the glory of His name

2. As an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So My ways are higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
