May The Lord Answer You in The Day of Trouble

MAY THE LORD ANSWER YOU IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE
Hi everyone, wishing you a blessed Chinese New Year. This picture was taken during a simple Chinese New Year lunch while about to engaged in the tossing of the Yu Sheng. It was indeed a time to rejoice and to fellowship over some food. As we celebrate CNY, our prayer is that all of you would have a meaningful time with your family and relatives.
I was reflecting over Psalm 20 as I thought about what to share with you for the New Year. There are seven things that I would like to wish for you.
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble, may the name of the God of Jacob defend you; may He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion; may He remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt offerings. May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfil your purposes…” Psalm 20:1-4
- God answering your prayers
- God defending you through His name
- God sending help to you
- God strengthening you
- God remembering your offerings to Him
- God giving you your heart’s desire (According to His will)
- God fulfilling the purposes in your life
When we trust in the Lord fully and He blesses us with His grace and mercies in performing the above, we will stand out as servants of the Lord. We can stand upright and trust solely in Him and nothing and no one else. Let’s seek to trust in the Lord that these wishes would indeed be fulfilled as we seek to walk in His ways and trust in Him. May the Lord truly bless us and help us. Have a God-blessed Chinese New Year ahead!
