DEALING WITH THE PROBLEM

3. Idolatry is described as “abomination”   (Deuteronomy 17:4)

4. If proven guilty… Death by stoning   (Deuteronomy 17:5)

MAKING SURE THERE IS FAIR JUSTICE

1. Two or three witnesses must be found   (Deuteronomy 17:6)

2. Cannot be put to death on the basis of one witness   (Deuteronomy 17:6)

3. The hands of the witnessed to be on the guilty transgressors   (Deuteronomy 17:7)

This is throwing “the first stone!” Evil must be dealt with strongly.
