1. 概述

a. 一个撒种的出去撒种

2. 撒种的比喻蕴含深刻的教训

a. 撒种的那一位

i. 这指的是人子 《马太福音13：37》

ii. 主耶稣被比喻为撒种的

b. 种子

i. 种子来自撒种的那一位（主耶稣）

ii. 种子是天国的话语《马太福音13：19a》

c. 四个不同的地

i. 四个不同的地代表一个人听到和接受天国话语（种子）的不同方式

ii. 撒种的比喻教导我们深渊的属灵教训 – 当一个人正确地领受上帝的话语时，他的生命将结出许多果实

正确聆听和理解上帝的话语的需要

1. 路旁

a. 一些种子掉在路旁 《马太福音13：4》

i. 飞鸟来了

ii. 种子被吃尽了

iii. 不会结实

b. 主耶稣教导的更深属灵教训 《马太福音13：19》

i. 天国的话语可以被听到

ii. 但是，如果没尽力地去理解上帝正确与完整的话语

iii. 恶者可以来抢夺心中的话语（使之无效）

2. 正确聆听和理解上帝话语的挑战

a. 聆听上帝话语

i. 这是美好与奇妙的

ii. 然而，我们不能仅停留在听而已

b. 正确理解上帝的话语

i. 这必要并非常重要

ii. 许多人不努力正确地理解上帝的话语

iii. 许多人假定理解或将就于有限的理解

c. 属灵战争

i. 恶者必能在不理解的时候抢夺所播的话语

ii. 上帝的话语对我们的生活会变得没有影响

iii. 就等于没有领受这话语一样

给予我们所有人的鼓励

1. 上帝的话语

a. 这是天国的话语

b. 富有爱地传送给我们

c. 它可以在我们的生活中起到很奇妙的作用

2. 我们的挑战

a. 要知道我们有一个企图使上帝的话语在我们的生活中无效的敌人

b. 聆听

c. 理解

i. 我们应尽职尽责

ii. 祈祷上帝给予心灵上的认知 参《歌罗西书1:9》

INTRODUCTION

1. New Pulpit Series – “The Kingdom Parables”

a. To study the Kingdom Parables that the Lord Jesus taught

b. To be disciples (learners) of the Lord Jesus

c. To find joy in understanding the deeper truths of the Kingdom of God

2. Our focus today – “The Parable Of The Sower (Stony Places)” Matthew 13

REVIEW

1. The Parable Of The Sower Matthew 13:3-9

a. A Sower went out to sow

b. Seeds were sown by the Sower, so that crops would be yielded

c. 4 grounds mentioned

i. Wayside

ii. Stony places

iii. Thorny ground

iv. Good ground – only the good ground yielded crops!

2. Deep spiritual lessons contained in the Parable of the Sower

a. The Sower

i. This is a reference to the Son of Man Matthew 13:37

ii. The Lord Jesus is likened to a Sower who sows seed

b. The Seed

i. The Seed comes from the Sower (the Lord Jesus)

ii. The Seed is the Word of the kingdom Matthew 13:19a

c. The 4 types of ground

i. The 4 types of ground represent the different ways in which one hears and receives the Word (Seed)

ii. The Parable of the Sower teaches us deep spiritual lessons about the how the Word of God when received correctly will bear much fruit

THE CHALLENGE TO FIND AND CULTIVATE GENUINE FAITH THROUGH THE WORD

1. The Stony Places

a. Some seed fell by the stony places Matthew 13:5-6

i. There was not much earth

ii. It sprang up immediately (rather than first forming roots because there was no depth of earth)

iii. It was scorched and withered away when the sun was up

iv. Because it had no roots to sustain it

b. The deeper spiritual lesson that the Lord Jesus was teaching
Matthew 13:20-21

i. The Word may be heard and understood

ii. There may even be joy in receiving the Word

iii. However, if there is no response of genuine faith in the Word (Seed not taking root)

iv. The result is that one will stumble amidst the tribulations and persecutions of life (withered from the scorching of the sun)

2. The responsibility for all to find and cultivate genuine faith in the Word

a. The Word of God

i. It must be understood

ii. It is able to create genuine faith when understood

b. Responding correctly to the Word

i. Being happy does not necessarily mean the Word has taken root in us and resulted in genuine faith

ii. The challenge is to find and cultivate genuine faith in God through the Word

iii. This is a responsibility for all who hear the Word

c. Genuineness of faith

i. Genuine faith will enable us to endure the challenges of life

ii. An absence or lack of genuine faith will cause us to stumble amidst life’s challenges

ENCOURAGEMENT TO US ALL

1. Responding correctly to the Word of God

a. Joy in hearing the Word of God is not enough

b. There must be understanding

c. There must be a response of genuine faith

2. The challenges of life

a. An absence or lack of faith in God will cause us to stumble when faced with the challenges of life

b. Genuine faith in God will help us to stand strong when problems come

3. Our encouraging

a. To find genuine faith through the Word

b. To grow this genuine faith through the Word
