a) Hiding

“You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent”   Matthew 11:25

b) Revealing

“And have revealed them to babes”                                                  Matthew 11:25

3. Agreement

a) Even so, Father

b) For so it seemed good in Your sight

c) “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”        Matthew 6:10

ADDRESSING THE PEOPLE

1. Presenting Himself

a) As the Son of God

b) All things have been delivered to the Son by the Father

c) No one knows the Father except the Son Matthew 11:27; John 1:18

2. Knowing God

a) Only through the Son

b) Only He can reveal who the Father truly is           Matthew 11:27

3. A gracious invitation

a) To come to the Lord Jesus Matthew 11:28

i)   To all who are heavy laden

ii) He will give rest

iii) Rest for the soul Matthew 11:29

b) To learn from the Lord Jesus Christ

i)   Taking His yoke `                                               Matthew 11:29

ii)  His yoke is easy                                                  Matthew 11:30

iii) His burden light                                                Matthew 11:30

c) The Teacher

i)  Gentle

ii) Lowly in heart             Matthew 11:29
