Subject: “Present your bodies a living sacrifice” Romans 12:1

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

THE DOCTRINE OF JUSTIFICATION

1. “Justification” was the main focus of Paul’s epistle to the Romans

a) For the Jews
b) For the Gentiles

2. Features to be remembered:

a) Justification by faith (Romans 5:1)
b) Justified by the blood of the Lord Jesus (Romans 5:9)
c) The gift of God’s grace (Romans 5:15)
