(I) AN OFT-REPEATED PHRASE- “MY SERVANT”
“But you, Israel, are My servant ,
Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend.” Isaiah 41:8
“You are My witnesses,” says the LORD,
And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He,
Before me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.” Isaiah 43:10
“Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant ,
And Israel whom I have chosen.” Isaiah 44:1
Remember these, O Jacob,
And Israel, for you are My servant …
O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!” Isaiah 44:21
