Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down his life for his friends

1. To lay down one life’s for his friends

a) Willingly

b) Sacrificially

c) Completely

2. There is no greater love

a) Not measured by human emotions

b) Measure by action

c) The greatest action: the giving of one’s life

APPROPRIATE RESPONSE: TO COMPLY AS THE LORD JESUS HAS COMMANDED

You are My friends if you do whatever I command you

1. To do all that the Lord Jesus has commanded

2. Following the example of the Lord Jesus

a) He demonstrates what a friend should be

b) He offers to us friendship

c) He sacrificed His life for us
