2. Crying out to God

a) Praying to God ( Psalm 61:1 )

b) Believing in God

i) As a shelter ( Psalm 61:3a, 4b )

ii) As a strong tower ( Psalm 61:3b )

3. Experiencing God’s deliverance

a) God had heard David’s vow (prayer) ( Psalm 61:5a )

b) He had answered and given to him a heritage of those who fear His name ( Psalm 61:5b )

i) God will preserve life ( Psalm 61:6a )

ii) He will grant mercy and truth ( Psalm 61:7b )
