1. No false hope of seeing Judas converted

2. A deep trust in God and the Scriptures

a) That the Scriptures will be fulfilled

b) That God is in full control

c) That there is no need to feel flustered or frustrated in being betrayed

(IV) A CHALLENGE TO EXAMINE OUR HEARTS

1. Could we ever betray the Lord Jesus?

2. Could we ever let Satan fill our hearts and we end up betraying the Lord Jesus?

(V) THE PROTECTION OF THE HEART AGAINST BETRAYAL

1. A heart that seeks to walk close to the Lord Jesus

2. A heart that sorrows at the thought of betraying Jesus

3. A heart that is filled with the Spirit of God and His power
