OUR SAVIOR – THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

1. Salvation

a. The cause of suffering: the problem of sin

b. The Lord Jesus is able to offer salvation from sin   (Cf. Isaiah 53)

i. He was without sin

ii. Yet He bore our inquities

iii. We are redeemed from the bondage of sin

2. Sympathy

a. The Lord Jesus understands what it means to suffer

b. He entered into our suffering with us

c. He is able to identify with us

i. We can come before Him in prayer

ii. To find the mercy and grace that we need

OUR CHALLENGE TO BE IN SYNC WITH THE LORD JESUS

1. To look to the Lord Jesus

a. In appreciation

b. In adoration

2. To follow His example

a. Trust

b. Praise
