2. That our knowledge of God is intact: –

a) Our shelter   (Psalm 61:3)

b) Our strong tower   (Psalm 61:3)

c) Our tabernacle   (Psalm 61:4)

d) Our sheltering wing   (Psalm 61:4)

STRONG FAITH IN GOD

1. I will abide (Psalm 61:4)

2. I will trust (Psalm 61:4)

VOWS MADE

1. What Vows are

a) Special prayers

b) Special promises made to God

2. These vows will be heard by God   (Psalm 61:5)

3. These vows must be kept   (Psalm 61:8)

4. Commitment to praise God forever (part of the vows)   (Psalm 61:8)

VOWS THAT GOD WILL HONOUR

1. Those who fear His name   (Psalm 61:5)

2. There is a heritage God gives

a) He will prolong life   (Psalm 61:6)

b) He will abide before God forever   (Psalm 61:6)

c) Mercy and truth will be given
To preserve life   (Psalm 61:7)
