(I) REJOICING IN OUR FAITH IN GOD
1. The God of Righteousness (“Jeshurun”) (Deuteronomy 33:26a)
a) An essential attribute of God is His righteousness
b) He relates to His people in righteousness
c) He expects His people to walk in righteousness
2. He sends help from heaven (Deuteronomy 33:26b)
a) God’s help is glorious for it comes from heaven
b) His help is like no other for it is Divine
c) Expressions of God’s help are numerous
i) Biblical
ii) Personal
3. He is covered in majesty (“excellency on the clouds”) (Deuteronomy 33:26c)
a) His majesty is to be appreciated
b) We should stand in awe of His glorious majesty
(II) REJOICING IN OUR HOPE IN GOD
1. He is our eternal God (Deuteronomy 33:27a)
2. He is our refuge (Deuteronomy 33:27b)
3. His everlasting arms undergird us (Deuteronomy 33:27c)
4. He will go into battle with us leading us to victory (Deuteronomy 33:27d)
5. No enemy can withstand the might of God
(III) RESULTS OF KNOWING SUCH A GOD
1. There will be safety (Deuteronomy 33:28a)
2. There will be ample provision (Deuteronomy 33:28b)
3. There will be great happiness (Deuteronomy 33:29a)
4. There will be a great sense of special belonging to God as His people (Deuteronomy 33:29)
