1. The Antichrist who will come in the last hour (1 John 2:18a)

2. The many antichrists that are already in the world (1 John 2:18b)

3. He sinned from the beginning (1 John 3:8)

4. He causes people to sin (1 John 3:8)

5. He uses deception (1 John 3:7a)

6. He promotes error (1 John 5:6c)

7. He has the world in his sway (1 John 5:19)

“I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one” 1 John 2:13c

2. A Reality that is linked with the Word of God

“I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.” 1 John 2:14b

2. Anointing

a) Of the Spirit of God ( 1 John 2:20a )

b) Knowledge of the Truth ( 1 John 2:20b, 21, 27 )
