(I) MAKING PRAISING THE LORD A CONTINOUS PRACTICE OF LIFE
1. Where praising God is a choice for life
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” Psalm 34:1
2. Where praising God involves our whole being
a) With our soul ( Psalm 34:2 )
b) With our mouth ( Psalm 34:1 )
3. Where praising God continues despite the challenges of life
a) Fears ( Psalm 34:4 )
b) Troubles ( Psalm 34:6 )
c) Afflictions ( Psalm 34:19 )
(II) ONE SIGNIFICANT REASON TO PRAISE THE LORD ALWAYS – THE LORD IS GOOD
“The Lord is good” Psalm 34:8
1. Physical deliverance as a result of prayer
a) Personal experience ( Psalm 34:4 )
b) The experience of others ( Psalm 34:5 )
c) The experience of the poor man ( Psalm 34:6 )
d) The experience of the righteous man ( Psalm 34:17 )
2. Spiritual deliverance
“The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, and none of them who trust in Him shall be condemned.” Psalm 34:22
a) He redeems our soul
b) He does not condemn us
(III) THE ENCOURAGMENT TO RESPOND TO THE LORD APPROPRIATELY
1. For non-believers
“Oh taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8
2. For believers
“Oh fear the Lord, you His saints…But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” Psalm 34:10
3. For all – To praise God together
“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3
