D. REJECTION OF REASON INFLUENCED BY THE WORLD

2. The philosophy of the world

a) Secular versus “sacred”
b) Man-centered versus God centered (champions “man”)
c) Denies God and His word (absolutes)
d) Promotes self/ego
3. Rejection of secular reasoning with reference to our Faith in Christ
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.Romans 12:2
a) The world is set in opposition to the perfect will of God
