Subject: The Fear of the Lord

1. The Name of God    Psalm 76:1

2. The deeds of God (battle imagery)

a)    He broke the arrows of the bow                Psalm 76:2

b)    He also broke the shield and sword                Psalm 76:2

c)    The stout-hearted were plundered                Psalm 76:5

d)    They have sunk into their sleep                Psalm 76:5

e)    None of the mighty men have found the use of their hands    Psalm 76:5

f)    The chariot and the horse were cast into a dead sleep        Psalm 76:6

3. The Lord is to be feared
