1. Confident of better things concerning you Hebrews 6:9a
2. Things that accompany salvation Hebrews 6:9b
3. Commendable things

a. Work and labour of love Hebrews 6:10b

b. Done with consciousness of God’s name Hebrews 6:10c

c. Ministered to the saints and do minister Hebrews 6:10d

CONFIDENCE ABOUT GOD’S RESPONSE

1. God is not unjust

2. God will not forget all that we have done in His name Hebrews 6:10a

A FURTHER WORD OF EXHORTATION

1. We desire that each one of you show the same diligence Hebrews 6:11a

(Doing the things above)

2. To the full assurance of hope until the end Hebrews 6:11b

TAKING GREAT CARE

1. That you do not become sluggish Hebrews 6:12a

a. This can happen when we become jaded

b. When we backslide

c. When we lose our focus

d. When sin dominated us

e. When we do not abide

i) In the Lord Jesus

ii) In His word

iii) In His love

2. Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promise Hebrews 6:12b

a. To imitate (Emulating good examples)

b. Faith

c. Patience

d. Inherit the promise (Cf Hebrews 11)

But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.
