HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
“Home is where the heart is” as the saying goes,
Even more so, there is a home for our very souls.
Despite facing the difficulties and challenges in life,
Returning to church brings a sense of joy amidst strife.
From a humble beginning with a congregation of a few,
To hundreds of people now; this I knew.
It was none other than God who gave the increase,
When the focus is in His Word and Him alone to please.
Even though some of us have not been here since Bethany One,
God says we too belong to His household; strangers and foreigners, there are none.
And I know this is only possible through the blood of Jesus that was shed,
I want to remember this truth dearly in my heart lest I forget.
I am grateful to those who reached out to me and my family,
The work of our fellow brethren truly made us beneficiaries.
And so I rejoice on this day that God has given us a bigger place,
With deliberate determination, I seek to serve in His abundance grace.
