THAT THE SCRIPTURE MIGHT BE FULFILLED
The challenge of writing a book is no easy task,
There are many questions that must be asked!
Answers to them are not easy to unearth and discover,
But for the sake of truth, there must be strong endeavor.
The Gospel writers had the highest regard for the Scripture,
It was not just a book of history or just wonderful literature!
The Scripture was none other than the very Word of God,
It was carefully written by the faithful servants of the Lord.
There were prophecies that spoke about the Messiah of God,
These had to be fulfilled as proof that Jesus was indeed the Lord!
Prophecy after prophecy was noted, from His birth to His death,
In great awe and wonder the holy writers recorded Jesus’ last breath!
They were convinced that Jesus was indeed the Son of God,
He was the Messiah who fulfilled the prophetic records!
There is great proof that Jesus is indeed the Saviour of our soul,
If He can fulfil the Scripture, He can certainly make us whole!
