ASCRIBE GREATNESS TO OUR GOD
Our faith is in a great and wonderful God;
He has revealed Himself of His own accord.
He has given to us His powerful name;
Not to ascribe greatness would be a shame!
Let us find the appropriate words to proclaim,
The Lord’s wonderful and glorious name!
It is a name like no other for He is the Creator;
In His great mercy, He became our Redeemer.
God’s word is like the former and latter rain;
Without the rain, all the work could be in vain.
As the rain is necessary for the crops to grow;
So, the Word of God will help our soul to glow.
The Word of God is worthy of our time and devotion;
To His holy Word we must give our utmost attention.
May the Scriptures come alive to us and we see God!
What a privilege it is to be taught by our precious Lord!
