AN EVERLASTING LOVE
Human love has its memorable moments;
But love that has grown cold is a torment.
Fights occur and unhappiness is generated;
Love is sometimes a feeling that is regretted.
Who may speak of an everlasting love?
Only the LORD who is in heaven above.
Only He can love with true and deep affection;
We need to rediscover His loving compassion.
Human love is so very limited;
Yet, it is still greatly pursued.
God offers His lovingkindness;
We can trust in His faithfulness!
The LORD seeks to draw us to His side;
He will always help us whatever betides.
May we rediscover the Love of God!
Let us return to our gracious LORD!
