A MAN ATTESTED BY GOD
The Lord Jesus came as a Man from God;
He was truly well attested by the LORD.
Through miracles, signs and wonders;
His life and ministry were marvellous.
Yet, wicked men sought His terrible death;
They railed against Him to His last breath.
They caused Him to be crucified;
He was hanged on the Cross till He died.
But by the might of God He was resurrected;
His suffering and death were anticipated.
The prophets of old His death had foretold;
Their faith in God was strong and bold.
The same Lord Jesus will build the Church;
He would never leave it in the lurch.
With great power He will come to its defence;
All things are governed by His mighty hands.
