IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?
There are few who have not struggled with believing in God;
Even “the father of faith” found it hard to believe in the Lord.
Abram’s name had been changed to Abraham to signify “change;”
He had received honour from God, but full faith was not within range.
God spoke of giving him an heir on more than one occasion;
But he could not fully believe, much to God’s consternation.
Thus, He had to ask Abraham, “Is anything too hard for the LORD?”
Abraham could not bring himself to give a clear answer to God!
If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit we find faith a struggle;
Though we know God’s powers, we still find His promises incredible.
We are just unable to believe fully that nothing is too hard for the Lord;
We are so caught up with our weaknesses, we cannot fully believe in God.
The question, “Is anything too hard for the LORD,” is one we must raise today;
When we falter and fail in faith, Life’s challenges can bring about great dismay.
The challenge must be recognized; Our faith in God must be increased;
The problems of Life will always be there and they will never decrease!
