A CALL TO BLESS THE LORD

A Call to bless the LORD was issued strongly;

Specific groups of people were mentioned directly.

The mighty angels were called upon to bless His name;

They would certainly respond well, singing a joyful refrain!

Another Call was issued to all who love God and serve;

Some serve in Heaven while others serve on earth.

All would heed this Call to bless the LORD;

There is truly no one like our merciful God!

A third Call was issued to all who have been blessed;

They have seen that the blessings of the Lord are best!

The work of God in our life must be fully acknowledged;

To experience the mercy and grace of God is a privilege.

In the fourth and last Call the Psalmist addressed his own soul;

The hand of the Lord and His blessings had made him whole.

The only appropriate response would be to bless the LORD;

Let both heaven and earth always give glory to our great God!
