A REFUGE IN TIMES OF TROUBLE
The LORD is not just a Judge in Israel, in days of old;
He is also the Judge of the world, righteous and bold.
Israel’s history offers important information;
From the Scriptures we have insightful instruction.
The LORD will always judge fairly and righteously;
He can never be faulted for judging unwisely.
He allows even the worst of sinners to repent;
If they do, from His anger, He would relent.
The LORD is always a refuge for the oppressed;
All may turn to Him when they are distressed.
God will be a Refuge for those who are in trouble;
There is no need to rant and rave, or fearfully tremble.
Those who know the LORD would put in Him, their trust;
They know that He would uphold justice in uprightness.
The heart will find comfort and peace in the LORD;
There is every reason to rejoice and give praise to God!
