BLESSED IS HE WHOSE TRANSGRESSION IS FORGIVEN
Sins and transgressions are a part of our humanity;
Though we strive against sin, we have to face reality.
We try to ignore the problem of sin as best we can;
But we will find the weight of the Lord’s mighty hand.
How much better it is to acknowledge and confess;
The Lord will grant pardon and full forgiveness.
It is foolish and dangerous to deny the problem of sin;
God offers to do a work of true and deep cleansing.
God knows our tendency to sin, for this human weakness;
His answer is to show mercy and to impute righteousness.
He will help us regain the vitality that was lost;
The Lord Jesus has paid the ultimate cost!
How blessed we can be when we have God’s pardon!
Acknowledging and confessing our sins stands to reason.
Let us come to the Lord and seek His full forgiveness;
We will be able to appreciate afresh, true blessedness!
