BY AWESOME DEEDS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
Our prayers to the Lord our Saviour are not in vain;
Upon His throne of righteousness, He still reigns.
He is the Creator of the mountains and the seas;
At His command, the boisterous waves cease.
God answers our prayers in mighty ways;
He will be with His people all their days.
He will relate to them in righteousness;
To trust Him is wonderful blessedness!
The Lord is our God of salvation;
He is also our wonderful consolation;
He knows our cares and our fears;
To all who seek Him, He draws near.
He will cause our hearts to rejoice in the morning;
This joy will continue right through to the evening.
Let us rejoice in the mighty God of our salvation;
Let us dwell upon the Lord in joyous meditation.
