ENTHRONED IN PRAISE
God is enthroned because He is indeed King;
As the Sovereign Lord, He reigns supreme.
He looks after His people with great care;
His ears are always open to their prayers.
There may be times when we think God does not hear;
There may be moments when we fear He is not near.
Those are terrible moments when we find despair;
We must not give up, God will hear our prayers.
The example of our forebears must come to mind;
Joseph once found himself in a terribly great bind;
He was hated by his brothers and sold as a slave;
God delivered, and through him, many lives were saved.
The challenge is to exercise our trust in the Lord;
Enthroned in Heaven, He is our mighty God!
He will come to the rescue of His children;
He will stretch forth His hand from Heaven!
