FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

Strength is needed to be faithful pilgrims;

The reality of life can be pretty grim.

There is the Valley of Tears to be crossed;

Without strength, one would suffer loss.

Strength may be found when we seek God;

Grace and mercy would be given by the Lord.

He knows our weaknesses and our fears;

He comes alongside that we may know He is near.

We can go from strength to strength along the way;

The Lord fortifies our soul as we seek Him each day.

That we can go from strength to strength is precious knowledge;

This joyous promise of strength to cope works to our advantage.

There are valleys to cross and hills to climb;

Our hope of strength in the Lord is not blind.

Let us encourage many along life’s pathway;

We can go from strength to strength each day.
