GOD IS MY HELPER
King David learned to contemplate over things;
This helped him from over-reacting.
When things did not turn out as planned;
He chose to seek the Lord’s mighty hand.
He learned to turn to God as his Helper;
The Lord proved to be the best Supporter.
He would seek God in humble prayer;
He refused to give in to dark despair.
He found that God was with him indeed;
Graciously, the Lord met his many needs.
His heart was moved to offer Praise;
There was no mistaking God’s grace.
The Lord God continues to deliver today;
How we must give Him praise always!
May our faith in God deepen further!
The Lord our God is like no other!
