GOOD AND UPRIGHT IS THE LORD
How wonderful is our glorious God!
Great and patient is our LORD!
We may turn to Him when we sin;
He will hear and He will make us clean.
Those who seek to be faithful to His covenant;
They will know that His counsel is important.
The LORD would indeed teach patiently;
He would guide His people faithfully.
Humility in the heart is all-important;
Contrition is absolutely pertinent.
He will give counsel to all who seek;
His word given, we must truly keep.
God’s ways are always Truth and Mercy;
These features are there most noticeably.
May we truly love God as good and upright!
Let us not fail to do our part with all our might.
