HE ANSWERED THEM
God’s gift of faith is to be treasured;
Into His very presence we may be ushered.
What a privilege it is to pray to the LORD;
And be assured that we will be heard by God!
Great examples of intercession may be found;
Moses, Aaron and Samuel prayed with faces on the ground.
They prayed to the Lord on behalf of a sinful nation;
God forgave graciously, listening to their petition.
The privilege of prayer however is not often well-utilized;
Yet, the Lord Jesus had offered Himself as our sacrifice.
How we must be awakened to seek the Lord’s face;
We sorely need His love, His mercy and His grace.
God’s presence is truly with His people forever;
The Cloud and His Word are given together.
They represent His wisdom and His power;
May the Lord’s grace be ours every hour.
