HE IS COMING TO JUDGE THE EARTH
Many fear the idea of God as the Judge Divine;
They would rather that He does return at any time.
But the truth is that the Lord would come again;
He would establish His glorious reign!
There is no need to fear the Lord’s return;
He is still our Saviour from Heaven.
He would also deal righteously;
He would never treat anyone unfairly.
The faithful would be glad when the Lord returns;
He would bring all His children to Heaven.
There is no reason to fear the Lord as Judge;
Let us not unwisely nurse a deep grudge.
Creation would welcome the return of the Creator;
All the hills and seas will greet Him with joyful clamour.
How much more, we who profess faith in God;
Let us look forward to the Day of the LORD!
