REJOICING IN GOD

There are times when we may find it hard to rejoice;

But we need to remember that rejoicing is a choice.

We must not allow the presence of evil to cause us to fear;

We can choose to remember that the Lord is truly near.

God will deal with the wicked in due time;

Ours is to choose to believe in justice divine.

God will stop those who practise wickedness;

He will always uphold justice and righteousness.

Let us recall God’s lovingkindness always;

His word given is wonderfully precious.

Let us choose to meditate on the Lord;

May we always dwell on our great God.

Let us choose to rejoice in the Lord;

Evil will not overcome our God!

Let all who trust in God learn to glory;

Let us have confidence in God’s mercy.
