SEEK MY FACE

We seek many things from the Lord;

We pour out our heart to our God!

We seek His mercy and protection;

We also seek His hand of redemption.

We seek to be in the Lord’s habitation;

The thought of it sparks our imagination.

We dream of what it means for God to bless;

And our hearts are filled with happiness!
But we may have forgotten to seek God’s face;

In all our asking, we fail to seek His great grace!

This vital thing may be missed along the way;

How we must seek God’s face each day!

There are many fears that we will face;

How important to seek the Lord’s grace.

May our hearts be stirred to do the right thing!

Then would we experience deep blessings!
