THE BLESSING OF THE RIGHTEOUS
We know whom the LORD will not bless;
The people who deliberately transgress.
They plot and plan to do wicked things;
They will never have the Lord’s blessings!
The LORD will truly bless the righteous;
They love the name of God, for it is precious.
They put their trust in the LORD confidently;
They know God will bless them graciously.
The LORD will bless them with joy in its fullness;
He will protect them and defend them in righteousness.
He will give them His favour as a Shield;
To them, His great mercy, He will yield.
There is every reason to rejoice in the LORD;
There are wonderful promises from our God.
There is no need to fear evil transgressors;
The LORD would surely defend the righteous!
