VINDICATE ME, O LORD
The heart continues to battle fear that is felt;
Strong faith in the LORD is desperately held.
The reality of the fear cannot be denied;
To God, as Vindicator, the psalmist cried.
The wicked activities are clearly presented;
Candidness must be clearly exhibited.
The appeal is to God and His righteousness;
Surely, the LORD will deal with wickedness!
The heart must exercise faith in such prayers;
There must be strong hope that God truly cares.
He will come to the rescue of the righteous;
God will vindicate, for His mercy is bounteous!
The righteous must determine to give praise;
No effort must be spared in seeking God’s face.
The LORD will surely give Divine vindication;
There is no reason to lose the spirit of jubilation!
