THE DEAD IN CHRIST
We grieve when a loved one passes away;
But we need not be overwhelmed by dismay.
The Scriptures offer great words of comfort;
These truths can soothe the deepest hurt.
The Lord Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life;
We need not fear any words of despair or strife.
He has the power to grant grace and mercy;
His children will dwell with Him for eternity.
The souls of the dead are already in Paradise;
They will return with the Lord Jesus Christ.
The believers who are still alive when He returns;
They would be caught up in the air to Heaven.
These are glorious truths that we must treasure;
They will bring comfort to us without measure.
We need not be worried about the Dead in Christ;
They have passed on from this world into eternal life.
