WARNING CONCERNING FALSE TEACHERS
God sent prophets to warn His people;
These prophets had to battle great evil.
The number of false prophets grew steadily;
The messages they preached were deadly.
In the New Testament era, false teachers came;
They were among the believers, unashamed.
They were spreading errors and grievous lies;
But they were not spotted nor despised.
The Apostles were tasked to oppose them;
Their fine words were hollow and a sham.
Their false teachings had to be resisted;
The believers must be carefully protected.
The false teachers would be judged one day;
Their hearts would then be filled with dismay.
We must do our part to ensure we are not ensnared;
May we be found faithful, and always prepared!
